A football 4th

On this cold and windy Sunday afternoon, my team, the Waukee White Ravens, were playing the West Des Moines 49ers at Waukee Stadium. This team has bigger kids, but not better. Last year, this team was 4th in the final standings. We came in with our team and hope. We won our first two games of the season and that's where all of our hope was from. First game came with revenge, second with determination, and this game, with hope.
The 49ers scored the only points in the first half. At the half, the 49ers lead was 6-0. It stayed the same for the 3rd quarter. Then, a breakaway. A.J. Iverson running down the field. "GO!, GO!" I screamed. Before he got to the endline, there biggest and fastest guy caught up to him! He couldn't tackle him because I blocked that guy so A.J. got passed the endline! TOUCHDOWN Ravens! Our offensive guard said these words to our backs. He said, "Follow me". They did so we took a 7-6 lead.
At the end of the game, after our defense stopped them until this happened. Our QB kneeled so the clock read and the crowd and teammates chanted,"10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1,0" A victory for the ravens! My feeling was undescribable. We WON! My 4th win!
