The Courageous jump

I was so excited today I was bouncing off walls. My dad said he as taking me to the YMCA to go off the high dive. I have to admit I was a little freaked out by it.
So my dad and I hopped in the car. On the way to the YMCA I was messing around with random things in my dad's car because I was having second thoughts. My dad stopped at the front of the YMCA and dropped me off. Eventually I got to the locker room changed into my swimsuit. When I went into the pool area I saw the high dive towering over the pool.
I had already taken the swim test so I did not have to take it. I made my way up to the top of the high dive. Once I got to the top I wanted to climb back down but I had enough courage to jump. So I ran as quick as I could and I jumped!
On my way down I could feel the wind rush through my hair. All of a sudden I could feel a cool rush of water tickle my feet until I was completely underwater. I swam to the bottom of the pool touched the bottom and swam to the top as quickly as I could. A couple seconds later my head popped up out of the water.
When i got back to the high dive ladder I saw my friend Sammy . She saw me too and ran over to me.
"Hi." I said in a excited tone
"Hi." said Sammy
"I just went off the high dive."
"I want to go off but I'm' to scared."
"Don't worry I'll help you."
" You will?"
" Of course."
"First you know you are going to land in water which is a safe landing. Also its not that high up."
" Okay I can do this."
"Good luck!"
" Thanks."
Finally she made her way to the top of the high dive . She walked down and jumped. She screamed like it was the end of the world! She landed in the water and a few moments later her head popped out of the water.
"That was amazing!" she said in a excited tone
"I know." I said
For the rest of the day until 4 o'clock Sammy and I went off the high dive.My dad came over and told me it was time to go home.Once I was back in the car with my dad I told him everything that had happen. The last thing I told him was "Everybody has courage they just need to try new things."
