Friendship Awaits

Ah! The sweet smell of friendship. And horse manuer. Believe it or not, this is what I smelt when I knew, I had a new best friend.
"All right girls! Time to get up!" said our conseler.
"Why do we have to get up at 5:45am?" Mason said
"Because we ride at 6:15." our conselor replied.
Everyone had eventually gotten out of bed and was dressed. We had to walk a half-mile to the ranch. We walked more then 2 miles everyday. Mason and I had started talking and found out we have a lot in common.

When we got to the ranch, we were assigned our horses for the week. Mason got Bug, and I got Corky. Their stalls were right next to each others. Everyday we would talk will we got ready to ride.

After we rode, we went down to the pool. We both passed the test and were allowed in the deep end. It was relaxing to be at the pool. When you ride horses, you get tired.

On Wednesday, our conselor gave us an option, sleep outside, or in the cabin. We all voted to sleep in the wagon outside. Every night from then, we slept outside.

On Thursday, we went on a trail ride. Mason and I bith had ponies. Her pony was Kipper, and I had his cousin, Goblin. My pony, would always go toward the edge. I got freaked out because I am terrified of heights.

The final night of camp, Mason and I had swapped numbers. In the morning, after the show, she had sent me a text.

Our friendship has been amazing since then. I am glad we met. We still are friends, even though she lives in Omaha. I hope that you can find a true friend like I did. Through something you love.
