What were you doing when you found out about Michael Jackson's death?
"I was at work when I heard on the radio he was being taken to the hospital. Then later that evening on the news I found out he died."
How do you think Michael Jackson died?
" I think he died too soon. I think he could have lived longer if he wasn't addicted to drugs."
What do you think his childhood was like?
" I think his childhood was tough because everyone expected so much of him at a young age. I also think that he couldn't do things like sports or have friends besides his brothers."
Do you like Michael Jackson's music?
" I think he had lots of great hits. He also had many good music videos. He was also quite the entertainer for people."
What do you like or dislike about his music and what he created?
"I liked the unique beats he had in his music. In his music videos he was quite the showman and dancer. I also liked the dance moves he created and how they were unique to him."
What is your favorite song by Michael Jackson?
" My favorite song by him is Thriller. I like it because the video was very popular in its day. I also like the unique sense of rhythm, beat, and the unique meaning of the words."
What do you think his worst song was?
" I think his worst was Ben. I didn't like it because it had a different style that I disliked."
What was your favorite album by him?
" My favorite album by him is Thriller. I liked it because it had some good hits on it. I also liked it because it has my favorite song."
What is your favorite dance move by him?
" My favorite dance move by him is the moonwalk. I liked this move because it was unique to him and no one else could do it. Also everyone wanted to be him."
Michael Jackson's death was tragic and a historical event. His music changed the lives of many people. My point of view hasn't changed on him. I thank my mom for taking the time to talk to me. I know I won't forget how he changed peoples lives with music.
