Paint a picture now!

Alright, now many people say that taking pictures of a still life, or a landscape is is better than painting a picture instead. Well why not painting! A picture can only show what people visually see, but paintings can tell so much more. Like how they show your feelings just by changing the color, or even the time of day. Changing the shape like Picasso, and how he brought cubism to life by painting everything in cubes and squares. it can change the entire world's point of view!

Lets imagine a photograph of a pine tree, the bright sun glaring off of the bristles and the grass neatly mowed. Now take the setting, and change it to two years into the future, when the grass is a whole two feet tall, very messy, and hasn't been mowed the entire time! Also change the time of day, maybe to the evening , so that it shows a relaxed mood in the red and orange sky. That's a painting I know I would buy!

Now go back to that regular photograph of the pine tree. Very plain, not really a work of art. You know, just a picture right! Because that's all a picture really is, just that visual picture.

And it gets worse, that horrible glare! I can barely see the tree! Why must photographs be so EVIL!!!

You should kind of be getting to that phase right now that you just might want to go outside right now and paint a picture of something you see! And if you don't want to go outside on this grand day to paint a picture of something you see, what have you been doing this whole time crazies!!!
