PS3 VS WII

Have you ever noticed the differences and similarities between a PS3 and the wii, well in this essay i am going to list all of them. i am going to start with the PS3, for example the PS3 has better graphics than the wii, the PS3 also plays blu ray DVDs on it. the PS3 lets you store photos from your different games, both the wii and the PS3 allows you to connect to the Internet. Now i will list differences and similarities for the wii, the wii has more games than the PS3, the wii consul give you a workout while playing some of the games. the wii also has hand held controllers, compared to the PS3 which has regular controllers. the wii also includes the wii shop channel, mii channel, weather channel, news channel, photo channel, and the forecast channel. there you have it, all the differences and similarities between the PS3 and the wii.

This story takes place in my hometown, I was only a few years old when my parents and I got the news that my grandfathers car had been hit by a train. We rushed to the hospital to see if my grandfather was alright, but the doctor stopped us before we could get into my grandfathers room, they said they were about to send him down to the morgue. When my mother heard that she broke out in tears, she just couldn't imagine that her dad was finally dead. A few weeks later we visited my grandfathers funeral, since my grandfather was in the us air force a bunch of of other pilots in the air force were there to honor my grandfather, but I just hope that my grandfather went peacefully.

Game system showdown

Imagine its winter. A little boy is inside all alone bored to tears. Well not anymore for you have video games. But which one to choose. Should you pick the state of the art Play Station 3 or the classic Wii system? Which one to pick?

Here are some facts about both the systems to help you decide. The classic PS3 is a high tech system with amazing graphics,then again the Wii does give you an impressive workout. Back to the PS3,the PS3 makes much more exciting games to play in high definition. But also the Wii allows you to connect to the Internet.

All right enough talk lets vote,and the winning system is Play Station 3. So it turns out the Play Station 3 is the better gaming system. Well that's all see ya next time folks.

A day of tragedy

Have you ever lost a love one,a person who was always there for you.That is how my dad felt after his dad died and these are the questions I asked him.

Now you understand it is hard losing a love one and that is how my dad felt on the day of November 26, 2006.

irlacd/international run like cheetah day

on international run like a cheetah day,everybody runs like a cheetah on all fours all day.Everyone dresses like a cheetah and everyone has a big parade around town to celebrate national cheetah month.Everybody has to race from Des monies to Waukee,it starts at the blank park zoo and ends at waukee middle school.This holiday was made by Bill Andrews while he was exploring the jungles of Africa when he came upon a dead family of cheetahs,he felt so bad for the cheetahs that he started this holiday,and that's why every year we celebrate national run like a cheetah day or irlacd. by SHEA.C

The Game

On Saturday September 12th, my dad and I had a Hawkeyes football party to watch the game. We made a big pot of chili the night before, it was really spicy and hot. We had lots of chips and dip and we had cheese dip and cookies with soft drinks like Sunkist and root beer. My dad and I had friends from his work over to our house. We watched the game on my dads huge 60 inch plasma screen TV in high definition. Every time the Hawkeyes scored a touchdown we cheered really loud. I had a lot of fun at the party.
