The iPad and the Samsung Gloss

The iPad 3G and the Samsung Gloss have a lot in common. But they have differences to. There is the obvious and the surprising similarities and differences.

They both can be counted on the go. You can save important photos. One of the worst things is you will have to pay for Them monthly. When typing you will have a full key board. they are able to play your favorite music on it.

The iPad 3G has Internet. You'll be able to check all of your favorite websites. It's a touch screen. There are games you will able to buy at the app store. It is a 10 inch screen so it's big. You can watch any videos and other things on it. Last but not least it was made by Apple.

The Samsung Gloss is a phone. You will be able to take photos. It slips into your pocket. It'll flip up. It is hand size so it will your hand. You will be connected to your friends by texting and calling people.

Those are some of the similarities and differences. Now I could tell more but that would be boring. By.

He's Up There

Have you ever had someone die in your family? Read on to find out how
Noah handled it.

One day Noah went down stares to eat breakfast and saw that his Mother was leaving. It was only seven o'clock when she left.
"OK I am going to Grandma's house," said Noah's Mom.
"OK Mom," Said Noah. Thinking that she was leaving early with out anyone else to go see his Grandparents.
Noah was a small kid for his class but he payed attention. He was only eight when this happened.
It was October ninth and just past Noah's birthday and they were going to head out to see his grandparents soon anyway.
Then the next day Noah and his family got into the car and went to see his Grandma. His Grandpa just past away. Noah was thinking how this happened. Noah sat for two hours and he was thinking about my Grandpa.
A couple of days latter Noah went to his Grandpa's funeral. Noah took his last look at his Grandpa. It was the thing that went solid gold into his mind about the picture he saw of his Grandpa. Noah went to the basement and saw his friend Trevor, and his cousin Sam. They played games to take Noah's mind off of his Grandpa.
"Hey, what game do you want to play?" Trevor asked.
"How about Super Smash Bros," Sam said.
"Yeah," Noah Said.
Hours later.
Thanks for coming.
"Yep," said Trevor.
"I guess things in life happen for a reason," Noah said sadly.
"Yeah that is how life works," Noah's Mom said.

Baseball or Couch Potato

What do you like to do in the summer? If you like to sit and watch T.V., well then get a new hobby! I think baseball is a great sport and a great hobby for the summer.

One reason is that you are up and active instead of watching T.V. all day and being lazy. When you are watching T.V. you are not doing anything for others. You will be able to do something for others just by hitting the ball. Then you will have a good feeling and you will get better. If you are a fan then you can go to games and have fun there. You will be able to watch them and maybe get a souvenir!

Some people say that baseball is dangerous. Some people can get hurt by the balls. Pitches are wild and not good. Games are crowded a lot of times. Stadiums can hold a lot of people and they're big. Sitting in the stands in the summer can be really hot! It won't be so fun if you are burning up in the sun.

I understand why people do not like baseball. When you are playing you will build muscles, learn to interact with others, your social life will get bigger, and you can get more friends. Now would you rather be a couch potato or having fun with others playing sports? It is your choice, not mine.

Flood Of 2008

This event was frightful for the people who lived in Cedar Falls, Des Monies, and Waterloo. For us it meant a little sadness for our family up there. This is an interview of Steve B.

Where were you when you heard about the flood?
I was at home watching the news.
How was it to hear about the flood?
Concern of our family. Relief of not having to deal with it.

Was it scary or not to know your family was up there?
Yeah.

Did you have any family that had there house flooded? What was that like?
You had to move stuff around.

Did you pray for them?
Yes we prayed for them. We also hoped that the stuff was replaceable.

When you visited what was it like?
It was hard to get around.

How did your family react?

We had concern for our family.

How did you react?
Relief of not going to have to repair things.

Is it weird going back now?
Fells good that all the water is going down.

Was anyone in your family?
No.

Explain how you fell that no one was hurt.
Relief that they didn't. The house was replaceable.

Do you know if someone was hurt that is not in your family?
No.

Did anything change or effect your life?
Not really.

How is the person who got there house flooded doing?
Doing good. Back into the house.

Do you think that things can travel for miles?
Yes, because someone found a refrigerator in there front yard. It was not .

I fell like floods are more serious than before. I thought they got warned and you would be safe.

Waukee Marching Band

When I'm entering with the band I am hearing the crowd roaring in the stands. Kids banging the fence . I see the Waukee side filled with parents and kids. The new football field ready to go. At half time I sure can smell the food. When I smell the food it feels like I can taste it. During the Waukee fight song I here stomping and clapping. I here the loud and roaring instruments playing. After the band is leaving I here the crowd roaring and see the football players coming. All while I am leaving.
