"Where am I? Who are you? Who am I?"
"Oh man it looks like Tom has amnesia."
"What's amnesia?"
"It's... never mind. The ocean is home to many animals."
"What is an animal?"
"BE QUIET! The sky is not a place for animals to make their homes unless their homes can fly, but I doubt it. The ocean and the sky are made out of mostly the same elements like hydrogen, oxygen, and carbon. See you next time on Question the Expert. If you want to know more go to our website."

The Worst Present Ever

Today was fun but miserable. I woke up, went downstairs, and waited for my parents to get up. When they got up we ate breakfast.

Later my mom, dad, sister, and I went into the living room. It was Christmas morning. We opened our presents and looked to see what was inside. My sister and I opened a big present.We were shocked. Inside was a Nintendo Wii! We played it and played it.

We were happy until we got a phone call. It was grandpa. We were glad to hear from him. Then he said something that made my heart stop.

He sobbed "grandma is dead." He described "She collapsed in the hallway."

The instant I heard that I burst into tears. I was only 9 so I didn't handle it well. From that day on I learned something. I learned that death is far worse if you have experienced it.

Are You Ready For Some Football!?

What is your favorite sport? Mine is football. If you like golf, I'm going to tell you why football is better than golf.
You should choose football over golf. In golf the scores are confusing. If you get a hole in one you lose a point.
Even though you get hurt in football you have fun doing it. Golf is frustratingly hard. You have to hit the ball at the right power and at the right angle. In conlusion football is better than golf because it is not as hard as golf but it is not easy either.

9/11: The Day of Terror

My name is Lachlan and I call 9/11 the day of terror because so many people died. The story is devastating. Here is what my mom has to say.

What was 9/11 like?
It was a shock to everybody in the country and maybe even the world.
How did you feel during 9/11?
I felt shocked,sad and unhappy that this happened.
Did you know anyone on flight 93?
No I did not.
How sad was 9/11 to you?
It was upseting because so many people died in a horrific way.
Did you believe the story at first? Why?

Yes because the news was everywhere.

Where were you when you when you saw this?

In the computer room when I saw the headline on yahoo.

Why do you think someone would do this?

They probably did it because they could plan it, get away with it and they just didn't like people disagreeing with them.

Have you ever been to the twin towers?

No, but I have been past it in a taxi, in the spring of 1977, and we were going to go in it, but there was a bomb threat so they wouldn't let any tourists go up it.

What was the worst part of 9/11?

It was the fact that so many people died.

Was there a good part? Why?

No, because nobody was happy at that time.

What would it be like if you were on that plane?

I would have been more scared in my life than anything.

What do you think would happen if the twin towers didn't crumble?

Would have caught a lot of terrorists if the planners had been caught.

What would happen if the terrorists hit the White House?

Only a handful of people would have died.

How would you feel if someone you cared about was on that plane?

I would feel very sad.

What would it be like if I was in that building?

I would be very worried.

What a tragic story. I feel bad for all the people that lost loved ones. How do you feel about 9/11?

My Colorado Vacation

My family went to Colorado in a car. It took forever like waiting in line for a football game. Finally we arrived at my aunt and uncle's house. The first day I saw a lizard. It was spiky and rough. I chased it down the driveway until it was trapped. I picked it up and put it in a jar. Then I loosened the cap and rolled it down the street and it jumped out and ran away. The next day I went hiking with my uncle. We went up the hill and it smelled bad like a rat in the sewer. It turned out that it was Elk turd.
